Most dangerous roads

Every year the online Alaska-related Forums such as RVNet get loads of posts asking about the Top of the World / Taylor Highways in particular, with somewhat fewer about the Dalton, Dempster and Denali Highways. The questions are usually some version of “how dangerous are these roads?”.

Well, some people actually still post that the Alaska Highway is dangerous, so some people scare easily, but the Most Dangerous Roads in the World posts at Dark Roasted Blend puts things into perspective. Between 100 and 200 people die every year on Bolivia’s “Road of Death”, the North Yungas Road! The photos of it and the other roads in the series of articles are really quite astounding.
