Almost-free Alaska cruises

Princess cruises are usually the ones to watch for incredible deals in Alaska, and this year it’s certainly true. CruiseDirect.com usually has cruises available for $599 for inside cabins, but right now you can get a 7 Night Princess Alaska Cruise for $375- and that itinerary is College Fjord, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, one of the best itineraries offered by any line. The meals alone are worth far more than that, so the cabin is basically free – the cruise lines hope that you make up for the cheap price by spending lots at the casino, the shops, the bars and the excursion desk, but there’s no need to do so.

If you haven’t experienced the luxury of cruising yet, see the reviews of the ones Cathy and I have been on at YourAlaskaCruise.com. The first photo below is the Johns Hopkins Glacier in Glacier Bay, from last year’s cruise on the Amsterdam.
