Alaska Cruise Review & Photos
Posted On August 11, 2007
I’ve just posted my usual photo album / review of this Alaska cruise on Holland America’s Amsterdam, and a bit of a land trip – just click here to see it. We took two excursions during the cruise, a custom boat tour with Captain Davey Lubin in Sitka that we set up almost a year ago, and the ship’s orca viewing excursion that we booked on board at the last minute. At Juneau and Ketchikan we just had basic plans that were open to change depending on the weather – we ended up at Mount Roberts, the Mendenall Glacier and Totem Bight. After editing, I have 1,039 photos in my trip file, shot with a Canon Digital Rebel XT with 18-55 and 70-300mm lenses (of those, I posted 85).
