My first visit to the Takhini Salt Flats

Due to serious problems with this site that I don’t yet have a solution to (including not being able to post photos), I am posting blog posts at my main ExploreNorth site for now.

On Wednesday, September 30th, I headed west on the Alaska Highway, determined to finally find the Takhini Salt Flats, a place that everyone knows about but nobody will say exactly where it is. I found it, and it was even better than I had expected.
