Watching the world come alive

What a glorious time of year this is. Despite the cool temps and the wet, it’s wonderful to watch the world sprouting in various ways.

Sometimes it’s a nuisance – with the lodgepole pines letting loose clouds of pollen the past few days, everything from cars to patio furniture is impossible to keep clean. But much more often it’s a joy to watch – in little ways like the flowers and new lawn growing, and in bigger ways like watching the robins seen below, who have built their nest right by our upper sundeck.
