The day starts early in Skagway

I need to go to Skagway today, and just checked the WP&YR webcams as well as Weather.com. It’s looking like not a bad day for the drive – a mildly rainy Fall day. I got lucky with the webcam, though – the first cruise ship of the day was just pulling into the harbor at 04:46 (the photo below was taken at 04:50). I find cruise ship arrivals to be quite exciting – thinking about those thousands of people on their Great Alaskan Adventure!
