Keeping the Yukon legends alive

We don’t actually live in igloos as many folks Outside apparently think, but check out this photo of one of our transit buses. I didn’t make this up – it’s a screenshot of part of yesterday’s Whitehorse Star home page (thanks to Smells Like Yukon for pointing out this editorial “whoops”)! These buses may not use any fossil fuels, but when they’re running on a special high-protein fuel during the winter the emissions are sometimes far beyond normally-acceptable limits 🙂
