I could drive to Summer today…

I’ve got to get out of here. The gorgeous summers here are what make winter bearable, but it’s cold and wet and the forecast calls for crap far into the future. I know that southern BC is burning up and our Firecats have gone to Prince George, but Telegraph Creek is cold and wet so I started looking for the apparently dramatic break between Fall and Summer. The forecast for Stewart today is 22 and sunny. That’s it – I could be head south on the Stewart-Cassiar in a few hours, and walking on a sunny glacier by dinnertime if I quit typing and start packing!
