Exploring beyond Fort Lauderdale

November 22: The weather this morning wasn’t great – certainly not conducive to laying on the beach 🙂 This was the view from the balcony at 08:40 am.

This would be a good day to drive up to West Palm Beach to see Cathy’s aunt Marilyn. It was a great day from a few perspectives but I sure learned to hate Florida’s highway toll system. I’m not happy with Hertz for not giving some sort of “Florida Tolls for Dummies” course to renters – every toll booth you come to seems to have different rules that left us very frustrated and cost us more than it should have.
