Blogging North

Now that outdoors isn’t a particularly pleasant place to be (for a while until this wet white goes away), I’m getting some work done (actually I’m as confused as ever about where the line between work and fun is 🙂 ). One of the things that got started today is updating my list of Northern Blogs. My, how the number has grown since I posted the first list 17 months ago!! I’ve moved the list from this blog to the normal Web site where it’s easier to maintain [Edit: it’s now gone].

A couple of the many particularly good new blogs – Julie Perilla’s outdoor-recreation-oriented Alaskab4udie from Alaska, and The House & other Arctic musings from Arctic Bay, Nunavut.

To make the list more useful for myself and hopefully you too, I’m going to start ranking the blogs there, based on the quality and frequency of posts. You’ll see that at the bottom of the list are links to other lists of Northern blogs. Submissions, of course, are always welcome (by commenting here).
