Alaska cruises – how to choose the right one

The Alaska cruise season starts in just 27 days, and many people are already well into planning their 2013 Alaska cruise. As part of my ramping up for what is going to be a very busy few months of cruising and touring, I’ve just launched a new Web site, upgraded some social media sites, and started a contest for people who will be cruising into Skagway this year [the contest information has been deleted as it’s over].

First, I finally made time to get a Web site up for Cruise Explorer Travel. While developing it will be a never-ending project, it’s now live at… [Edit: it’s now gone]. With my new agency, the focus will be much tighter on Alaska, and on small ship cruising around the world. One of the pages that I’d like to show you is the one on how to choose the right Alaska cruise – the one that suits your budget, your interests and your personality. Click here to go to that page [archived].

As part of Cruise Explorer Travel’s Web presence, I set up a Facebook page [now gone], and have finally figured out the point of Twitter and have been posting regularly at the cruiseexplorer Twitter page [also now gone].

I mentioned that I have a busy few months coming. I’m guiding a small group on an Alaska cruise and land tour in late May, doing some family touring in the Yukon in July, guiding two 15-day Yukon-Alaska land tours in August, then in early October heading to Switzerland on a 3-week trip centered around a 13-day cruise down the Rhine and Moselle Rivers on the top-rated ship in Europe. The year will get finished off with a week-long trip to southern BC to help celebrate my Dad’s 90th birthday There will be no shortage of blogging topics this year! 🙂
