On the road – grizzlies & The Great One!

I asked for grizzlies for our tour into Denali National Park today, and did Mother Nature ever deliver! I lost count, but our driver/guide said that she thought we saw 9 – the sleepy guy yawning below being the best.

We not only got great grizzlies, though, we also saw Denali, The Great One, in all her unclouded glory. It made a great spot to take a group photo.

While almost back to the highway, 3 moose feeding together beside the road was a bonus (I’ve never seen 3 mature moose together before). Now it’s a gorgeous afternoon to sit on the deck with a glass of good Scotch and enjoy the view (yes Cathy, my life does suck 🙂 )
