Moose alert

For the past week, we’ve had 2 moose coming through the property on their rounds, and on Christmas Eve they bedded down for the night less than 100 feet from our bedroom window. We haven’t seen them yet, but the next-door neighbour says it’s a cow and 2-year-old calf. Even without seeing them, I sure do like knowing that they’re there, and that they are comfortable being this close to us. The dogs haven’t made a sound yet, but are on high alert quite often when they go out, and they went crazy when I took them over to smell the moose beds yesterday morning 🙂
