Embracing the light

Despite having little daylight, I find that I still do a fair bit of photography this time of year because of the quality of the light we do get, and I don’t go anywhere without my camera gear (even into Whitehorse to do some shopping). Going to the cabin on Wednesday, the moon was irresistible, and I stopped just north of Emerald Lake to take a few shots, including the one below. It was shot at ISO 400, 1/320 second, f5.6 with the 75-300 lens at 220 mm.
