Choosing magazine covers

For the past year or so, Canadian Geographic magazine has been asking people to help them choose the cover of the next issue. The image below shows the current option. I chose the middle one – it’s dynamic and I like the clean, contrasting background that emphasizes the action. I also think that it better fits the Calgary Stampede theme – bronc riding by a “real cowboy” rather than barrel racing or a rider with a motorcycle helmet on.
