Back in the Yukon again!

The adventure is over, but we have memories that will last a lifetime. Cathy and I got home last night after getting off the Radiance of the Seas in Seward, Alaska, taking a bus to Anchorage and staying there overnight, onto a jet to Juneau and a Cessna 207 to Skagway when my son Steve and his partner Rachel picked us up.

I have to get to work in a few minutes (driving a group from Whitehorse to Carcross for the day), but will tell you lots more about what happened tonight. The summary is that we may not cruise Alaska anymore because we’ve just been on the best cruise possible and everything else would be a let-down. Yes, it was really that good. The picture below shows us after our marine mammal watching excursion at Sitka – we saw sea otters, sea lions and birds beyond counting, up close and personal thanks to the knowledge and skill of Davey Lubin of the Esther G Sea Taxi.
