Aurora alert in the Yukon

Conditions are forecast to be perfect tonight for a great aurora show in Whitehorse, as seen below. The aurora forecast is from the UAF Geophysical Institute, and the weather forecast showing clear skies (finally!) is from The Weather Network.

Most of Alaska is forecast to be cloudy today and tonight, so no luck for residents there (or for the late-season cruisers or other travellers). Most of the Yukon has the same luck as Whitehorse today, though.
