Kitchen renovation – complete

We got the kitchen renovation project finished yesterday afternoon, a little over an hour before picking the new tenants (and new Yukoners 🙂 ) up at the airport. Nothing like cutting it close!

It’s a fairly dramatic change from the old kitchen – brighter, friendly and with a bit more counter space and a lot more storage. After thinking about the reno for 3 years it feels great to have it done.

Murphy’s Laws are in effect, though – my pickup died while I was clearing my equipment out of the house (brake frozen up), so I have to try to get it moving and out of the way this morning. There’s nothing I enjoy more than working on a vehicle on the street at 30 below zero 🙁
